In August of 2000, all of us at Mark's Airboats were honored with a very special surprise.  Governor Mike Foster placed his order for a new airboat.  After placing the order, Governor Foster made frequent visits to the shop to see how his boat was coming along.  He was always willing to stop for a quick chat or a few pictures.  After the boat was completed, I enjoyed a trip to Oaklawn Manor to familiarize Governor Foster with his new boat.  Even now that the boat is finished and delivered, Governor Foster still drops by the shop to say hi.  The expierience of working with the governor has been one that none of us at Mark's Airboats will soon forget.
